The Arts Club Production Centre is where all the behind the scenes work takes place. In their studio on Railspur Alley, they create the sets for shows that play at the Arts Club Theatre Granville Island Stage, the Revue Stage, and at the Stanley Industrial Theatre.

The Granville Island Cultural Society (GICS) is a non-profit society formed in 2001 to manage two of Granville Island's premier performance venues: the 240 seat Waterfront Theatre and the flexible seating space, Performance Works. GICS participates in the direction of and provides support for Granville Island's extensive cultural programming. GICS also manages the Granville Island Buskers Program.

Originally a machine shop in the 1920s, Performance Works opened in 1992 with a mandate to provide the arts community with a permanent rehearsal and performance venue. Owned by CMHC-Granville Island, and managed by the Granville Island Cultural Society, Performance Works is a flexible black box theatre space booked year round with many of Vancouver's most exciting performance events and productions.
