Make way for the SS Master! This magnificent piece of maritime heritage will be docked behind the Public Market throughout August and September. At almost 100 years old, she played an important role in British Columbia’s logging industry during the early to mid-twentieth century. She was saved from the scrap heap by the World Ship Society of Western Canada in 1962, was restored to her original glory, and now tells historic maritime tales of the West Coast.
